EXCLUSIVE (S.A): Celebrity Couple DJ Zahnile And AKA Call It Quits!

Just recently I shared with you, the new bundle of joy in South Africa's celebrity couple, DJ Zinhle and AKA. Well, I don't know whether my words caused a ripple in the tender fabric of the universe, or this sad news are simply another occurence that needs no reason,  because the two have just broken up!

In a joint statement titled “Amicable Separation”, which was posted on Zinhle's blog, celebrity couple AKA and DJ Zinhle announced they have called it quits.

She wrote, “After a great deal of thought, reflection and discussion we have decided to end our relationship of three years. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it.”

DJ Zinhle and the rapper part ways just over month after the birth of their daughter, Kairo.

In the statement the duo say they wish nothing but the best for each other and insist they remain good friends and co-parents to their child.

News of the break-up comes as a shock to fans as just this past weekend AKA posted on social media, saying he had paid “damages” to the Jiyane family for impregnating their daughter out of wedlock.

The couple has asked for privacy, opting not to take interviews on the matter. “Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye we thank you for your understanding and ask for privacy during this time,” they said.
