Ssaru continues to make her mark in the Kenyan music scene. She has proven to be a fan favorite with her music becoming hits. Not only does Ssaru boast of streams within the Nairobi urban scene she also traverses across the country. Let's take a look into her hits this year: 

1. Maintain (Ivo Ivo) featuring Trio Mio 

Maintain (Ivo Ivo) is a feel good track that explores the fan life of Nairobi . The collaboration and chemistry between Trio and Ssaru is undeniable as they delve in this track. The chorus “Maintain Ivo Ivo…” makes it easy to sing along, attracting listeners of all ages. The track ranks at #3 as top music videos on YouTube with over 8 million views. 

1. Gongewa featuring Fathermoh & Motif Di Don 

Gongewa is a famous slang used to illustrate cheating. Ssaru gets crafty with the popular phrase and created the catchy song. In 3 weeks, Gongewa is at 1 Million views. Fathermoh and Ssaru have an undeniable chemistry as the two boast of top charting tracks. 

1. Statue - Mario , Fathermoh , Ssaru , Sean MMG & Motif Di Don 

Tanzanian artist Marioo hopped onto the Arbantone wave with a fire collabo dubbed Statue. The song caused excitement between the two countries, enhancing cross collaborations between Kenya and Tanzania. Ssaru's verse in the song brings out her dynamic style: being the only lady in the crew. Statue has up to 4.3 million views. 

Ssaru sealed her 2024 with the release of her 6-track EP Queen of Genge. The EP features prominent Kenyan artists including Khaligraph Jones, Domani Munga, Masauti,Trio Mio, Fathermoh among others. Ssaru thanked her fans for the achievement of her two hit songs . In an Instagram post she shared: “Thank you so much team Ssaru.” She further asked her fans whether she should release another song or it is enough for the year with playful banter from her two songs ,Gongewa and Maintain (Ivo Ivo).
