Kenyan Producer Victor Amani popularly known as Vic West has officially joined Universal Music Group. Vic West is a celebrated Kenyan producer, singer, songwriter and artist.

In a press statement, Universal announced the signing of renowned Kenyan record producer and hit-maker. Vic is a key figure in the contemporary Kenyan music scene. His signing marks a significant milestone for the rapidly growing Kenyan music industry.This signing comes after the music group signed Afro Indie artist Njerae. Universal continues to commit to showcasing Africa's dynamic musical talent on the continent and globally.

Crafting his sound throughout High School and University,Vic has established himself as a cornerstone figure in Kenyan music lore. His breakthrough came after producing viral hit song “Kuna Kuna” blasting him into the limelight and hearts of Kenyan music lovers. His unique blend of African rhythms and modern production has resulted in multiple chart-topping hits and collaborations with leading Kenyan artists including Fathermoh, Savara, Brandy Maina, Breeder just to name a few. Vic West is widely regarded as one of the key innovators driving the new wave of Kenyan music.
