Gospel Singer Evelyn Wanjiru Set to Rock US With Series of Concerts

Kenyan gospel singer Evelyn Wanjiru is set to rock the West with scheduled concerts in various American states together with fellow artist Gloria Muliro.

Gloria is hosting Wanjiru together with her husband Agundabweni Akweyu who doubles up as her manager. The duo will also perform alongside another celebrated gospel icon, Paul Clement.

Some of the American States Wanjiru and co will hold concerts include Minnesota, Massachusetts, Maryland and Seattle in Washington State.

Wanjiru is known for her powerful vocals and uplifting performances.  She blends elements of contemporary worship and praise & worship music, creating an energetic and soulful sound.

Her live shows are a vibrant experience.  She commands the stage with her dynamic presence, often engaging the audience with call-and-response sections and moments of worshipful reflection. 

Her powerful vocals soar effortlessly, backed by a skilled band that lays down infectious rhythms and rich harmonies.

While her music is rooted in gospel themes of faith, hope, and love, Wanjiru also incorporates elements of African gospel, evident in the use of traditional percussion instruments and energetic rhythms that invite audiences to move and celebrate.

With Clement and Muliro in these concerts, the ‘Asante’ hitmaker is definitely ministering beyond expectations thousands of miles away from home.
