Bobi Wine has released the music video for "Man & Woman" featuring fellow artist Nubian Li.
The year-old song highlights heterosexual relationships' fundamental relevance in life as well as gender norms.
The song's major source of life, according to Bobi Wine, is man and woman. He says that biblically, a man and woman need each other to complete life.
“Every man needs a woman and woman needs a man.; that was the plan in the Eden Garden,” Bobi Wine sings.
A 20-second excerpt of Bobi Wine's 2007 song "Adam ne Kaawa," which again highlights the complimentary relationships between men and women, introduces the new video.
"Man & Woman" video's debut coincides with some strange allegations against Bobi, including that he has used the National Unity Platform, his political party, as a cover to further his personal agenda.
“In our ever-evolving world, the era of rigid gender roles and stereotypes has passed. Men and women working hand in hand, recognizing each other's unique strengths and contributions, create a stronger, more inclusive society. Let's embrace this cool vibe of everyone sharing responsibilities and leading together. What a man can do, a woman can do!” he captioned the video.
This is the first musical project he has embarked on in a while as politics takes centre stage in his life.
