Otile Brown has openly shared his dissatisfaction with the reception of his latest album, ‘Grace’.

Speaking to the press in Githunguri on Tuesday during the burial of online sensation Brian Chira, Otile Brown delved into various factors possibly contributing to the album's lukewarm reception.

He said the fast-changing music digital world is negatively affecting the global music industry and it is one of the reasons he believes hindered the success of ‘Grace’ album.

He highlighted the increased diversions present today, such as the emergence of bloggers, vloggers, and TikTok stars, which wasn’t the case when he released his first album.

Otile Brown had a lot of hopes for this album but the outcome was disappointing.

"My expectations were high but I also prepared too, coz a lot is going on in the industry right now. There are a lot of distractions. Sio kama two or three years ago when I dropped my first album. It was about the music and the artist. Right now kuna ma bloggers, vloggers, kuna TikTok starts kama wote," he explained.

The singer said he is yet to market the album on wide scale because he wants fans to connect with the songs first.

Throughout the year, he intends to concentrate on making music videos and promoting the album. Interestingly, he revealed that he be filming music videos for tracks in which he collaborated with musicians like Barakah The Prince.
