Kenyan music fans are in for a treat as Mordecai Mwini signed with Sol Generation, one of East Africa's most successful music labels.
Mordecai, known by his stage name as “Dex” is a talented singer, songwriter, and producer who rose to fame as a founding member of the beloved Kenyan boy band H_art the Band.
H_art the Band dominated the Kenyan music scene for years, churning out hits like "Na Bado," "Ukimuona," and "Nikukutazama." Their catchy tunes and energetic performances solidified their place in the hearts of Kenyan fans.
Mordecai known for his smooth vocals and artistic flair, played a pivotal role in the band's success.
Now, he embarks on a new chapter with Sol Generation for the next three years.

The label is a powerhouse in the East African music industry, boasting a roster of some of the region's biggest stars like Sauti Sol, Nyashinski, and Fena.
Known for their innovative sound and commitment to quality productions, Sol Generation has consistently pushed boundaries and redefined Kenyan music.
The three-year deal between Dex and Sol Generation signifies a promising collaboration. Dex brings his songwriting and production skills, honed over years with H_art, to a label renowned for its artistic excellence.
