Burundi takes the crown in TPF SS6
9 December 2013
Eight weeks ago on 18th October when Tusker Project Fame season 6 kicked off, most fans across East Africa tuned in to watch the show.
They committed their energy and time to support their favorite contestants and finally yesterday after the long wait Irakoze Hope from Burundi was crowned the winner.
The 25-year-old who held the occupation of a performer and Jazz singer prior his participation in the competition won most fans over with his powerful vocals.
His ardent performances always drew audiences, causing them to sing along to his beat every moment he took the stage.
Hope did not take it lightly a while back when judges chose to put him on probation stating that they lacked someone to put on probation clearly showing how much trust he had in himself and his talent.
The Kenyan duo Amos and Josh kept up a good fight and ended up taking the second spot with Daisy Ejang from Uganda taking the third spot.
Hope got to walk away with Sh5 million and a recording deal with ‘Universal Music Group’ South Africa.
He has already recorded his first single produced by TPF 6 principal Eric Wainaina, which will be available to the public by today.
