Budding Kenyan artist, Doreen Mumbua popularly known by her stage name as The Mumbua has a new EP ‘Love Try Angle’.

The new EP carries an amazing dreamy and romantic afro pop feel which has always been her musical homestay. Here is a review of what to expect from the 5-track EP.

Age

With the right person to love and they reciprocate, there is no reason under the heavens why you shouldn’t love them. Not even ‘Age’. The Mumbua draws her inspiration from darker berries which take longer to mature, yet they make the finest wine. So, for her ‘age is just a number’. All that matters is love and pure intent for one another

Inakera

The Mumbua has a strong dislike for any man who takes her for a fool and all she can say is ‘Inakera’ (it is annoying). She hits back at a man who she has loved endlessly and selflessly but none of that made him love her back as she did. He is a deadbeat to her.

Tosha

‘Tosha’ is all about love. She is all about love and contentment in the small things life has to offer her and she is not about to complain because love wins it all.

I Do

‘I Do’ carries the real love theme in ‘Love Try Angle’ EP. For the right person who can love her with all her imperfections; she is ready to make a life-long commitment in a heartbeat.

Juu Ya Doh

‘Juu Ya Doh’ departs from her Afropop – Afro Zouk feel and takes on a reggaeton sound. She doesn’t hide the fact that she loves her man for his money and she is ready to be submissive whenever and wherever.
