TPF finalist Peter Msechu signs up with Mdundo
6 December 2013
Peter Msechu came into the Kenyan limelight in 2010 when he joined the ‘Tusker Project Fame’ season 4 as a contestant from Tanzania.
He became a favourite to many East Africans as he combined music with comic lighting up the TPF4 any time he got the chance.
Although he didn’t win, he lifted the runners-up trophy trouncing Steve and Ameleena to the third and fourth place respectively with Davis Ntare coming top.
The 25 year old started singing aged ten when his father took him to join Kigoma Lutheran Church Choir. His biggest breakthrough came in 2009 when he participated in Bongo Star Search (BSS), a weekly TV talent competition in Tanzania and that’s when he developed his fan base.
A year later he auditioned for TPF4 and got a chance to join the academy.
Speaking to Mdundo, Msechu explained that this is one of the platforms he’s been looking for to connect with his fans all over East Africa and especially Kenya where he officially kicked off his music career.
“I’m grateful because I now have a platform where I can share my music to all my fans all over East Africa and the whole world”, Said Msechu.
One of his songs ‘Relax’ ft Kidum was in our top ten list yesterday. Download his music via the link tagged below
