If I had a shilling for every time I lipped the words Sauti Sol, I can humbly say I would be having lunch at the miniature version of Mt Olympus, Vila Rosa Kempinski hotel, with Lupita Nyong’o right now. With my legs crossed like a proper gentleman, napkin tucked in as my hands experienced the feel of an authentic cutlery set; heck, I’d even for once eat soup – with a spoon!

But, here I am, still talking about Sauti Sol as my pockets struggle to swim in the memories of the last time they harbored De La Rue property!

The group recently received the award for both Most Downloaded Group and Most Downloaded Afro Pop in the ongoing Mdundo Awards and in the event they gave a nod to the soulful boyband, H_art The Band!
