Mdundo geared up for Kenya music week

Fans will next week have the grand chance to interact and meet up with the Mdundo team during the annual Kenya music week that is set to be held at the Sarit Centre Expo hall starting from Thursday 12th– Sunday 15th.
Speaking to Mdundo’s Operations Manager he explained what mdundo is anticipating over the event, “It’s an opportunity for fans and artists who want to know more about Mdundo to come and interact with us and see how we are having an impact in the music scene
Kenya Music week was founded back in 2004 after there was a growth in concern that music piracy is robbing the Kenya Music Industry of over KShs 10 billion annually - while our fragmented industry appears powerless to fight for its rights; Kenya Music Week was created to provide an accessible public forum for Industry stakeholders (i.e. musicians, producers, promoters, distributors, media, consumers, government & NGOs) to interact and produce solutions to Industry problems.
They say where there is a problem there is always a solution and seeing that the art industry in Kenya is under a lot of danger Mdundo is proud to be among the solution providers.
