Jomonotics, whose real name is Alex Jomo alias STMIC, is a proud Kenyan hailing from the vibrant neighbourhood of Makongeni in Nairobi. His stage name, STMIC, stands for "Sijitakii Tu Mimi, Ikuwe Community," a Swahili phrase that embodies his mission to inspire those who look up to him. While BREEZE was a promising collective, the members eventually went their separate ways, each pursuing their unique paths in the music industry.

Undeterred by the dissolution of BREEZE, Jomonotics decided to forge ahead as a solo artist, and the decision proved to be a pivotal one in his career. In 2016, he began working on his debut album titled "Pursuit – Will Win," which was finally released to the world in 2017.

  • May 2022: Jomonotics was crowned the "Music Talent of the Year" at the KUSA Awards, cementing his status as one of Kenya's top musical talents.

The event featured prominent figures in the entertainment industry, including Azziad Nasenya, Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Masauti, Sanaipei Tande, and Ethic, among others.
