Jomonotics, whose real name is Alex Jomo alias STMIC, is a proud Kenyan hailing from the vibrant neighbourhood of Makongeni in Nairobi. His stage name, STMIC, stands for "Sijitakii Tu Mimi, Ikuwe Community," a Swahili phrase that embodies his mission to inspire those who look up to him. Through his music and actions, he aims to uplift and motivate people from all walks of life.

• 2020: He was recognized as the 28th Most Influential Student in Kenya by the Standard Media Group, a testament to his impact both within and beyond the music industry.
