Whenever it comes to describing these guys, I always feel like my words fall utterly short yet I always try hoping I don’t get strike by lightning from the god of music for failing to give enough credit. Sauti Sol ladies and gentlemen, has mastered the ability to build up emotion for any particular situation and pour it into their lyrics, which they in turn give a tune to and the result is godly music!
This is what gives them the second nomination in the upcoming Mdundo Music Awards as the Most Downloaded Group. And which song put them in this category, you ask? The all time favorite, ‘Sura Yako’!
The 2015 BET nominees took the award for this category in the last held Mdundo Music Awards and if history and their current track record are anything to go by, then they might just take it again! Or will they?
