MDUNDO MUSIC AWARDS: What Are The Mdundo Music Awards?

<p style="text-align: center;">The first ever Mdundo awards took place last year on May 1<sup>st</sup> 2014 at the Mdundo offices on Ngong road which were quite a huge success with the crème de la crème of the music industry turning up in numbers to celebrate their musical achievements.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">The event’s purpose was to reward some of the artists who had put in a lot of effort into their music and proved to be outstanding on the Mdundo platform.And come June this year, history shall repeat itself as we Mdundo hold the event again!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">This time however the nomination categories are different in a more versatile manner and as for the venue, well let’s just say we will be bringing the party right to your doorstep! In this digital age, Mdundo will be pushing the ‘Digital Envelope’ a block further as we will make the event an iEvent; we will go door by door awarding all the winners as their fans get a real-time access of this. </p>

<p style="text-align: center;">The nomination list along with the nominees for each category will be released from the 13<sup>th</sup> of May all the way to the 4<sup>th</sup> of June as the winners of the same are announced from June 9<sup>th</sup> all the way to the 19<sup>th</sup> of the same month. So if you’re an artist, music lover and all round arts intellectual it’d be wise to keep it Mdundo as all this unfolds.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Last year’s event was the first of its kind, having never before been a digital awards show, which was based solely on how much fans had downloaded the artists’ music. Here is the list of last year’s winners in the inaugural Mdundo music awards.</p>
