Nothing is stopping Asake from thrilling his fans and he has released a new music video his new song ‘Basquiat’.
He took it off his newly released sophomore album ‘Work of Art’ and he set expectations and the pace of what to expect with his other songs.

Asake picks a yacht theme for his visuals at the start and this draws interest from the audience. He enjoys fun moments with a line of blondes sipping expensive champagne as he is still on the yacht watching the world go.

He then transitions to a scene with a lot of graffiti in honor of the late American painter Jean-Michel Basquiat who inspired this song.
Michel Basquiat was popular for his unrivaled gestural style of painting with graffiti-like images and scrawled text.
“Walking poetry, I am greater I'm a work of art, Basquiat Na gaskin, owo ati Alafia Lawan wa, not time for drama o Walking poetry, I am greater I'm a work of art, Basquiat Na gaskin, owo ati Alafia Lawan wa, not time for drama o,” he sings.
‘Basquiat’ is one of the top hits of his ‘Work Of Art’ album and it syncs with the album’s theme of celebrating artists.
He is promising his fans more captivating videos going forward.
