In the tusker project fame academy this previous week Saturday happened to be the last eviction show which of course came with an interesting unique twist where contestants were given the chance to perform their favourite songs chosen by them unlike previous weeks where they had to re -do the songs that had put them on probation; and not to disappoint themselves all contestants put their hearts into the performances and gave audiences a fantastic show.
By the end of the night two contestants were evicted from the academy this includes Kojjo from Uganda and Phionah from Rwanda, after getting the least number of votes from East Africa.
Sunday was also the last probation show and the last 6 contestants Daisy (Uganda), Amos & Josh (Kenya), Patrice (Rwanda) Hisia (TZ), Hope (Burundi) and Nyambura (Kenya) will be battling for the ksh 5 million grand prize and a recording deal with ‘Universal Music Group’ South Africa where successful artists such as Mafizolo are signed.
Voting for your favourite contestant is the only way to make sure your star wins the show and if you don’t vote then you have no right to complain that the winner (come Sunday).
Tusker Project happens to be one of East Africa’s most watched reality TV show and is currently on its sixth season where the Grand Finale is set to air this coming Sunday.
