Getting a Collabo With Wizkid is Difficult – DJ Tunez

Wizkid’s resident disc jockey, DJ Tunez says getting a collaboration with the Afrobeats sensation is extremely difficult. Tunez stated that Wizkid is picky about his collaborations which is the most challenging this because an artist does a lot to convince him on why they should work together.

Also, his busy schedule also makes it extremely difficult the Starboy boss to commit to making new music. However, despite Wizkid's hectic schedule, he has featured DJ Tunez in some of his viral hit songs. First of all, it has to be a really good song. It has to relate with him [Wizkid]. So, any song that I’m trying to put him on, I say, ‘hey, how do you feel about it? I feel like it relates with you,” he said on Afrobeats Podcast by Shopsydoo.

He adds: “And if he is down for it, you know he is down for it. He is not easy to work with. You gotta have to take your time jejely. But he has blessed me. I don’t know who else has these many collaborations with him. I appreciate all the love he shows me. ”The duo performed at the Afronation Festival in Miami where the ‘Essence’ hitmaker headlined the event.
