Nigerian rapper Olamide is back with a brand-new song ""New Religion” featuring fellow Nigerian Amapiano sensation Asake.

The song has an Amapiano beat and a seamless fusion of Hip Hop and Neo Fuji accompanying the brand-new music video shot by Jyde Ajala. Olamide and Asake honour 2baba, Blackface, and The Remedies in ""New Religion” jointly produced by Bbanks and Magicsticks. The duo center this record as a masterpiece celebrating living and gone legends across all the facets of the society.

Besides celebrating 2baba known for his legendary musical works in and out of Nigeria, ‘New Religion’ also honour the memories of the late veteran Brazilian footballer, Pele and Argentine all-time great Maradona. “Tune in to the king of sounds and blues Olomi wombe o Ko de ye koma lobeyen Lifestyle Agba baller R.I.P to Pele Dribble like Maradona Baby malosonta Nobody to ta Lagos to Minnesota No cap Nobody weh de hotter I no fit No fit do mediocre,” Asake sings in the chorus.

The record follows the well-received 'Trumpet' single, which featured international Afrobeats artist CKay.
With ‘New Religion’ featuring Asake and a different sound, Olamide is well into priming his fans and global audience for his upcoming album dubbed 'Unruly'.
