MDUNDO MUSIC AWARDS: Old School Versus New School As Nameless Faces The New Cats In Music!
15 May 2015
“Respect your elder I started singing when you were still in diapers” he sings in his new collabo alongside The Kansoul. And yes, Nameless musical stretches way back to a time even the extinct dinosaur race can recall. But his ability, music knowledge and talent is what puts him on the nominee list for the ‘most downloaded Afropop single’ in this year’s Mdundo Music Awards!

His colossal Ugandan feel song ‘Butterfly’ (Kiwojolo) is what’s up for an award as one of the most downloaded singles on Mdundo. The song, saw Nameless approach the entire musical space from another dimension as he had to learn an immense amount of Luganda to woo this beautiful girl, which she wants to ‘fly’ away with hence, ‘butterfly’.
Also another reason why he adopts a dancehall feel; Ugandans are known for their love for Dancehall tunes, so what better way to appeal to them than serving them with what tickles their fancy?
