Falz and Vector have teamed up to deliver a satirical song 'Yakubu', which takes aim at the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, over the alleged irregularities and violence that marred the 2023 elections in Nigeria.

The song which was released on Thursday, March 30, 2023, has gone viral on social media platforms, as many Nigerians have praised the rappers for speaking truth to power and exposing the flaws of the electoral system.

Falz and Vector did not mince words in their lyrics, as they accused Yakubu of being a fraudster, a liar, and a puppet of the ruling party. They also mocked him for his infamous 'eye neck' gaffe, which he made during a press conference after the elections.

The song also references the court cases that followed the elections, as well as the protests that erupted across the country, demanding a free and fair electoral process.
