29 November 2013
Hart The Band are set to take the stage this Sunday at Blankets & Wine.
Though many people may not be too familiar with them, they are a force to reckon with because of their amazing energy, engagement with the crowd and their ever electrifying performances.
This Sunday they aim to win over people and gain a massive fanbase at Blankets & Wine and as they shared it is a must attend event,
“People should expect something new, different, versatile, energetic and unique. We are all quite excited to showcase our work to the fans," shared one of the band members to Mdundo over a phone interview.
Introduced to Mdundo during #RawMdundo event organized by Mdundo in collaboration with Penya Africa earlier on this year, the event aimed at showcasing raw talent and bringing together artists for interaction.
Their performances were multifaceted and left the crowd hooked and wanting more especially with their catchy tune ‘Uliza Kiatu.’
The band members, Mordecai, Kenchez and Wachira, met in 2012 during an audition for a play at the Kenya National Theater.
They each got the roles and during the rehearsal process discovered that they shared a passion for music, spoken word poetry, comedy, dance and fashion.
