After a long wait, Ghanaian songbird Amaarae has released the much-awaited new song ‘Reckless and Sweet’. 

She takes an RnB approach on the record to give it a complete sensual feeling of what and how being recklessly in love feels. Amaarae together with KZ Didit, Cadenza, Kyu Steed, and Yves Rothman co-produced the song.

‘SReckless & Sweet’ maintains a mid-tempo throughout laced with seasoned RnB beats to touch the soul. As her voice transcends through this jam, you can feel her shrill and soft vocals speak to the soul in an amazingly beautiful style. 

The accompanying music video is as sensual as the lyrics are. This is her first single of 2023 breaking over a year-long spell of no new music from her. Amaarae has been featured by several artists as a collaborator in the past year, on Tiwa Savage's Tales by Moonlight and Stormzy's This Is What I Mean.
