And now P Diddy has extended the frontiers of fragrance advertising in his racy new commercial.
The 45-year-old rapper could be seen both having sex with and choking his girlfriend Cassie in the not safe for work advert for his Sean John perfume called 3AM.

The clip gets even more provocative as his 28-year-old girlfriend of over seven years is shown completely naked and even gives glimpses of her nipple piercing.
It was so explicit that it appeared to be too much for department store Macy's as Diddy posted a screen shot of a Page Six article with the caption: 'ATTENTION!! I'm debuting my NEW #3AMseanjohn campaign TODAY!! They say it's TOO HOT for TV! Are you ready??'
In the Monday report an insider for the New York Post section claimed: 'The full-length version includes such provocative images that retailers were concerned about young customers seeing [them].'

'The required edits almost delayed the [fragrance] launch,' added the source. 'In an attempt to bypass the censors, Combs tried to get the commercial [out on cable channels], but it was still deemed too racy.'
The video featured very fast cuts as it opened with the rapper running out of a car before brushing Cassie's face with his hand, the two look like they are going to kiss before flashes of her slapping him in the face, him choking her and hew throwing a glass bowl of apples off a table are shown.
In a few different points for the advert, Cassie - last name Ventura - could be seen in the nude while straddling Diddy, who is completely suited and booted, and later a clear side view of her pierced nipple could be seen.
