Celebrated vocalist Brandy Maina has announced that she will cut down on music collaborations for the rest of the year. In a statement she shared with the public, the 22-year-old singer pointed out that only five artists are eligible to collaborate with her. The five include; Nyashinski, Kinoti, Watendwaili, Femi One, and Fathermoh.

"Unless it is Nyashinski, Kinoti, Watendawili, Femi One or Fathermoh, I am not doing any more collaborations this year. Leave me out of interviews as well," Brandy Maina's statement read.

The songster explained that she will invest her utmost focus and attention in her upcoming EP. Brandy Maina noted that she has done a lot of collaborations which denied her a chance to build her brand as an independent artist. Consequently, she will dedicate the rest of the year to her solo music projects.

"I have been doing collaborations for a while now and I really have not had or taken time to work on my solo projects," the youngster stated.
