Cameroon-American singer Libianca has released the remix of her hit song ‘People’. The remix features Nigerian artists Ayra Starr and Omah Lay.

Ayra Starr brings her uniqueness and vocal charisma to the song as usual with melancholy-ridden lyrics. She follows Libianca’s steps and paints a picture of a troubled soul without a way out other than drinking and wallowing in self-pity.

“In bed but my mind still wondering overthinking but I would rather be sleeping, grab a drink I need escape na two four seven I be in the state na but I can no longer depend on it I be calling my own one’s enemy I don’t de question my own sanity…” she sings. As she ends, Libianca adds a short verse saying that although she feels beaten, defeated and hopeless, she would rather be alone than with a fake friend.

Omah Lay seals it with his golden vocals with a reiteration of Libianca’s and Ayra Starr’s call. He ends it beautifully with a soothing and hopeful voice on the need to keep checking up on people.

Libianca penned "People" while feeling invisible and unheard at the time. She is happy that many people who have heard it identify with the song's emotions. Due to her intention to provide distressed hearts relief, it is just more than a song. This lovely afro-soul tune is interspersed throughout yet another enthralling, classic masterpiece.

‘People’ is based on the idea that life's facts are what motivate us to do what we do. Preferably, she addresses a societal issue that many people are interested in. Listen to People Remix by Libianca featuring Ayra Starr and Omah Lay below: -
