Rema's Calm Down Remix Score New Feats in UK and US Music Charts

Afrorave star Rema is still bagging more success in the US and the UK courtesy of his year-old ‘Calm Down’ record. 

'Calm Down' made it to the top 20 of Billboard Hot 100 this week. It peaked at No.19 from No.25 where it was a week ago in its 25 weeks of stay on Billboard. The remix which features American songstress, Selena Gomez scooped an RIAA platinum plaque after selling over a million units. In the same vein, ‘Calm Down’ climbed up to number 3 on the UK Official Singles chart this week after sitting pretty at Number 8 last week. In January, this song which is now a global tune topped the Indian Music weekly chart.

On its way to becoming the most successful afrobeats record ever, it also made history by becoming the most streamed song on YouTube Nigeria. It boasts 391 million views on the video-sharing platform.
