Legendary Ugandan musician Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone, has apologized for kissing his brother Weasle during the previously held Gwanga Mujje Concert. In a video that he shared with the public, the 'Valu Valu' singer acknowledged that his actions offended various stakeholders in the music industry. He explained that neither he nor his brother intended to offend anyone during their performance, citing that there was so much excitement on stage that carried them away.

"To my fans, friends, and the whole country, the whole continent for supporting Legend Gwanga Mujje; the long-awaited concert that we enjoyed last weekend. I wish you this opportunity to also apologize to my fans, and friends for the did me and Weasle shared on stage. I know most of my friends are really offended and didn't carry it lightly. I sincerely apologize. There was just too much energy and excitement. I actually regret it, the energy was so high... And I also apologize on behalf of him," Jose  Chameleone stated.

The apology comes after social media users expressed varied reactions to the viral video of the duo's performance. Whereas there are those who seemed to understand them, there were also those who were not pleased by their actions. Jose Chameleone's Legend Gwanga Mujje sold-out concert experienced immense success with fans travelling all over the region to support him.
