Kuami Eugene has released a new song ‘Cryptocurrency’ featuring American singer Rotimi. 

The self-produced single is the singer's first release of 2023. On the record, Eugene brings out the element of wealth and new currency in the market vis-à-vis dating. Most people are in a transactional kind of relationship and the advent of cryptocurrency is making it all a new age to date. 

Rotimi in his verse acknowledges how love and dating have changed to a point where it is what he has in his pocket that matters more than what he has in his heart. “I don’t really care what them wan do, they just tryna take me for my pockets get me for my clip to currency, new levels new devils tryna race for the money gold medal,” he sings.

Ideally, ‘Cryptocurrency’ amplifies a current issue of gold diggers adopting a whole new level of making money through blockchain that is now popular in West Africa. Kuami and Rotimi paint a vivid picture of beautiful-looking women with cold hearts and as selfish as the world can get.
