American rapper Future has reached out to Nigerian songstress Tems a week after the duo, together with Canadian rapper Drake won a Grammy Award.

Tems and Drake collaborated on Future’s song ‘Wait For U’ which won the coveted Grammys during the 65the edition held in Ohio on February 6. It was off his last album ‘I Never Liked You’.

The rapper posted a bouquet of beautiful flowers and a lovely message to Tems. He appreciated her for her massive contribution to their victory adding that she was the best part of winning the Grammy Award.

"Tems, Accept this token of beauty as a thank you for being the best part of our Grammy Award-winning song,” Future wrote.

From this success, he is looking forward to working more with Tems and he made it known in the lovely note accompanying the bouquet of flowers he bought her.

“This is just the beginning. Future,” concluded the note.

Future is already working on his 10th album following the massive success of ‘I Never Liked You’ which is his ninth album and in which one of the songs won him a Grammys.

The huge success in collaborations with international artists continues to elevate Tems’ international portfolio. Besides working with Future, she also co-wrote Rihanna’s latest release ‘Lift Me Up’ in 2022.

This song booked her an Oscar nomination, making her the first Nigerian artist to ever bag the nomination.
