New Music: Asake - Yoga [Official Music Video]

Nigerian breakout star Asake has just released a new song ‘Yoga’. 

The record which serves as his first official single of 2023 comes with an accompanying music video. As is the norm, he sought award-winning director TG Omori for the music video and he did not disappoint at all. 

The charm in this song is instant as it starts with a personal touch in Yellow-painted public service vehicles. He projects the highs and lows of his life which he takes control of with ‘Yoga’ literally. Besides this, this first single of 2023 aims to continue his 2022 musical dominance which earned him a place in the Naija music industry in 2022. 

‘Yoga’ also serves as the first post ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ album single released on September 9 2022. The album which housed 12 tracks brought him a lot of success within and outside Nigeria. 

After the album's release, it became the highest-charting debut Nigerian album ever. It also booked him one of the biggest shows in the UK. He performed in December at the London O2 Arena and pulled a crowd that only the likes of Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid are capable of.
