Burna Boy's YE Goes Platinum in the US

Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy has achieved another major milestone with the sale of his famous song "YE" in the US surpassing one million units.

Burna Boy's "YE" is now eligible for an RIAA platinum plaque after surpassing a million copies in sales in the US according to credible chart news portal Chart data.

 YE is off his third album, "Outside," released in 2018. After being found by fans looking for Kanye West's album bearing the same name, the single gained international recognition in the US. It marks yet another huge stride in the international market which his songs have managed to get a hold of. 

The Grammy Award winner has received widespread praise since the release of "YE” which made him a fan favourite in the US Afrobeats market. He now joins Nigerian singers CKay, Wizkid, and Tems in receiving an RIAA platinum plaque.
