Sauti Sol Announces Change of Venue For Sol Fest Concert

Sol Generation has announced the change of venue for their upcoming Sol Fest Concert. The event which had been scheduled to take place on December 17th, 2022 at the Fox Drive-In, Thika Road has now been moved to the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC).

The organizers of the event explained that the change of venue was motivated by the increased criminal activities at the previous location. They noted that their priority is to ensure the safety of the fans, artists, and other stakeholders who will attend the event.

The decision was arrived at after extensive consultations with various security agencies. In a bid to maintain high-security standards for the event, Sol Fest partnered with KICC for the much-awaited Sol Fest concert.

"Sol Fest Corporation's number one priority is the safety of our patrons. artists. and partners. Following consultation with our security service providers, who have also consulted with various security agencies, it was established that the areas surrounding the previous location of choice for SolFest (Fox Drive. in, Thika Road). has had a significant increase in criminal activity over recent months," a section of the statement read.

Among the top artists who have been lined up to perform at the event are; Harmonize, Nadia Mukami, Matata, Octopizzo, Bruklyn Boys, Fena Gitu, Bensoul, and Nviiri The Storyteller among many others.
