Sensational Kenyan music band Matata has released their much-awaited debut album ' Super Morio'. The 15-track project features top names from the Kenyan music scene. Among the top artists featured in the album were; PHY, Sauti Sol, Wakadinali, Okello Max, Liam Bailey, and Akuvi. Seven out of the 15 songs are collaborations. Multi-award-winning boy band Sauti Sol has made two appearances on the album.

The intro of the track narrates the journey of the artists from their childhood up to where they are today. The story which is told through their mothers reveals how each member discovered their talent in music and how their passion pushed them into stardom.

The masterpiece album brought together various music producers across the world. The inclusion of different producers made the album dynamic and avoided any similarities among the songs. Some of the top music producers who took part in the production are; Woud Omollo, SQ, NicoNine Beats, Pink, Nana, Ape Music, Fissbass Beats, and Hoost Music. Jonas Westling mastered all the songs.

Matata has been praised by many stakeholders in the Kenyan music industry for the heavy investment they made in the album, especially in terms of creativity. The album has been treated to a warm reception and has gained thousands of streams and views on various music streaming platforms.
