Award-winning Ghanaian artist KiDi shut down the Gambia over the weekend after selling out over 50,000 tickets on Saturday.

It was his first show outside Ghana following the release of his latest EP 4Play. As soon as his Gambian fans heard of the concert, they quickly bought tickets and filled up QCity in Serrekunda ready for entertainment by the ‘Touch it Hitmaker’. QCity is the first multipurpose recreation centre that offers activities for children and adults of all ages.

According to sources, KiDi is the first singer in the Gambia to sell out 50,000 tickets in three days. As per usual, KiDi put on an incredible performance, performing all of his favourite songs like "Odo," "Enjoyment," "Touch It," "Champagne," and even the most recent off his new EP "Habibi." After the concert, KiDi conveyed his gratitude to the Gambians for their love and support in a post on Instagram.

"The Gambia I’m truly overwhelmed and grateful for the love. I’ll definitely be back. Yours truly, SD" he wrote.

The new EP ‘4Play’ released through Lynx Entertainment is a fine brew of musical finesse. He captures emotions on a high and dishes out a superior mix of wit and entertainment.
