A section of Kenyan social media users has expressed concern following signer Bahati's move to delete all of his Instagram posts. The multi-award-winning music star pulled down all of his social media posts on the Meta-owned platform without an explanation to his followers. The move attracted a lot of questions as well as concerns from various stakeholders in the music industry.

The deletion of social media posts followed a more than one-month absence from the public. Bahati laid low and took a break from live performances and activity on social media platforms after the August general election.

Previously popular artist Diana Marua, who is also Bahati's wife, claimed that the 'Adhiambo' singer was planning to make a comeback into the music scene after the break. She was, however, careful not to divulge details of his whereabouts.

The situation became more complicated when Diana Marua on September 14 shared a cryptic message on social media and followed it up with prolonged silence. In the social media post in question, the 'Mubaba' hitmaker indicated that she was going through a dark moment in her life.

"Only in the Darkness, Can you see the Stars," Diana Marua wrote.

Fans continue to remain hopeful that the celebrity couple will make a comeback soon and continue serving them with good music and content.
