Patience Nyarko to Release New Music with Shatta Wale

Gospel and secular music are about to collide in Ghana's music industry, following a collaboration between Gospel singer Patience Nyarko and dancehall star Shatta Wale. 

Nyarko divulged this information during an interview that aired on TV Africa. She said that her move to collaborate with Shatta Wale is because of the influence he wields among the youth. The huge following that the reggae singer enjoys pushes Nyarko to find out what formula he uses. 

“Bible says the sluggard should go to the ant and learn its ways. The ant could refer to a secular person who has wisdom. The guy is my market. Even the way he writes his songs, I want to challenge him,” she said.

Shatta Wale, the artist behind the hit song "On God," provided a reaction by accepting Patience Nyarko's invitation, which was not formally extended but appeared to be legitimate.

“Aaaawwwwwwww Am even shedding tears. Let’s do it for GOD #ONGOD I am ever ready!!! My sister Patience Nyarko, you have said what I want the world to hear..THE SOULS FOR GOD IS WHAT I AM HERE FOR NOT VANITY GOD KNOWS!!!”

Fans from both camps are eagerly waiting for this collaboration by the two artists serving different musical interests in Ghana.
