Shatta Wale Announces Nigeria Media Tour

Award-winning Ghanaian reggae-dancehall star, Shatta Wale is set to visit Nigeria on what he says is a media tour for his upcoming album, Gift of God.

He announced this on his Twitter page adding that it is exclusively a media tour. His fans questioned him about what made him change his mind following his hardline stance in 2021 about album promo tours. 

Then, he tweeted out saying: “The difference between your artistes and `ee me is datI don't fly to nigeria to do promo cuz I don't need it. I am your Gari, ,I don't need advertisement..It's natural bro ...you can't fight the universe ..you will fail ..ask about me #GODISHERE.”

In light of this comment a year ago, the ‘My Level’ singer clarified that he was going to Nigeria on a media tour and not a promotional tour. “I said media tour not promo tour! I am only traveling with my best friend to go and do oil research and u ppl are complaining ok continue,” he clarified. 

This will be his fifth studio album and his last, but it will be special to him. The Ghanaian dancehall superstar recently announced that the album will be released on the 17th of October 2022. After that, he will call in time in music and focus on something else – mainly his businesses including his Shatta Movement label. 

What makes this album special is the creativity, theme and inspiration behind it. He will feature big acts in Nigeria such as Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Joeboy. Interestingly, He will feature his long-time musical rival Sarkodie alongside Samini and Stonebwoy.
