Portable Conferred with Chief Akoi Amuludun of Tigbo Awori Land Title

Nigerian crooner Portable was recently honoured with the title of Amuludun of Tigbo Awori Land, a position traditionally held by a Chieftain.

On August 22, Portable announced online that he had been crowned Amuludun of the kingdom of Tigbo Awori, which is located in the Yewa local government area of Ogun State.

Portable was shown in the movies being formally appointed by the King of the Kingdom to his new position as the Chief Happiness Purveyor of the Tigbo Awori Land.
The renowned fuji icon Chief Obesere, on whom the 'Zazzu Zeh' crooner sprayed newly minted 500 naira notes, was the featured performer during Portable's investiture event, which was also documented on video.

Despite Portable's recent legal issues, which resulted in him being disqualified from the 2022 Headies, his hometown is still proudly recognizing and celebrating his success.
Portable's recent coronation as a chief has given him the posh title of Tigbo Awori Chief, allowing him to walk around in the trappings of the chieftaincy and bask in the adulation that comes with it.

If nothing else, his Instagram post where he introduced himself as "Chief Akoi Amuludun of Tigbo Awori Land" conveyed the significance of his new position. This adds a new portfolio to his music career.
