Bella Shmurda to Feature Bobby Shmurda on Upcoming Album

The upcoming album by Nigerian singer Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, better known by his professional name Bella Shmurda, will feature a collaboration with the American rapper Bobby Shmurda. 

Bella, who had previously divulged the names of the artists who contributed to his album stated that a constellation of stars would be the aural blessings bestowed upon fans once the project is complete.

He recently mentioned Bobby Shmurda in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, so we can now add that to the list of featured artists. Given that Bella Shmurda told the Jaguda team in an interview a year ago that he took up his stage name after Bobby Shmurda, this accomplishment may serve as a fitting culmination.

South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest was also cited as a contributor to the album. The Dangbana Republik signee announced the release of his debut album a few weeks ago. He also dropped a teaser of one of his yet-to-be-released singles on his Instagram page and promised better things in his debut album. 

Shmurda is not your ordinary artist; he is the voice of the voiceless in the streets, a hat he wears with pride. He knows and understands how powerful music is – much so street pop - which is the root of his musical success.

The new Bella Shmurda album is due for release in October.
