Loui Features KiDi in ‘Hennessy’ Remix

Tanzanian songbird LOUI has recruited Ghana's finest Afrobeat star KiDi and French soprano Maud Elka to appear on his summer remix ‘Hennessy’.

Produced by S2kizzy, while "The Mix Monster" Selebobo, a prominent Nigerian producer, was in charge of mixing and mastering, ‘Hennessy Remix’ is an upbeat hit.

Official visuals for the song were directed by Director Kenny and shot in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.  LOUI is the first and only musician in East Africa to have sold platinum records. He is currently signed to Legacy Record Inc based in the US.

KiDi’s feature comes dropped a new song ‘Blessed’ featuring Mavado. He speaks of the love and support he has gotten in his music career over the years. It is the basis of this new tune.

The Ghanaian singer requested veteran Highlife icon Daddy Lumba, for collaboration in one of his upcoming projects.

He says that he has a melody already and it will only come out if Daddy Lumba obliges to his request for a collaboration.

He told Kastle FM during a recent interview that: “I have a melody that I’ve let my group know that this tune won’t ever emerge until I have Daddy Lumba on it. Daddy Lumba with all due respect, I need to have you on that melody.”

Daddy Lumba has left an everlasting impression in Ghana’s music industry and is considered a legend in the Highlife genre. He has over two decades of experience in this genre that birthed many other genres in Ghana today.

When asked why he wanted the highlife great to be a part of his new project, KiDi revealed that Daddy Lumba is someone that his father has a lot of respect for.
