Gyakie Releases New Song - "For My Baby"

Ghanaian songbird Gyakie has dropped a sizzling new jam ‘For My Baby’.

The new song is off her upcoming sophomore EP ‘My Diary’ which she says she will release soon. 

‘For My Baby’ is the second song in this six-track EP. The song 'Something,' which she released on June 10, 2022, is the first single on ‘My Diary EP. She shared a snippet of the EP on her socials and her fans can’t wait for July 22 to get the full EP.

‘Something’ is already a big tune over a fortnight into its release. Her voice is calm and soothing as she dishes out the empathetic love song. 

She gives an effortless lyrical flow with a lot of splendour in the tune. You can only imagine how lit the entire EP will be. When it is finally released, the EP will come after her previous EP "Seed," which included her monster hit "Forever." The song pushed her into a new light in Ghana and beyond. 

Following the success of "Forever," Gyakie signed an international recording deal with Sony Music Entertainment, RCA Records UK, and Sony Music Africa. The year has been kind to her so far having won the Woman of the Year at the 3Music Awards 2022.
