Dancehall stars Shavey and Slice to make a comeback

Shavey & Slice best known for their hit dancehall song ‘gyal’ are set to make their comeback in the music scene but to our disappointments not as a group but one half (Slice).

Over a phone interview with Mdundo, Slice confirmed that he is working on a solo comeback project ,since they both decided to re-launch and work on solo projects,

“Although we’ve done a couple of songs together, for now I’m trying to push my new single called ‘Jipange’ which I released yesterday and it’s a dancehall tune.” shared Slice.

He further went on to say “The message of my new song is just to tell my fans that they should be ready because am coming to take over from where I left.”

The duo was once one of the hottest Dancehall Kenyan duo when they gave us their first hit song ‘Gyal’ that became a massive club banger and even topped charts in Jamaica,and up to date the magnitude of this hit song is still felt seven years down the line.

Few months back they released a comeback song ‘Bayuda’ to replicate the success of their previous song but it was not received well since it didn’t get much airplay and there was a lot of negative publicity surrounding fellow groupmate Shavey.

Well as they say half is better than none so lets wait and see the great things Slice has in store for us.
