Highlights and notable events musically this week!!

It’s been an accomplished and great week for the Kenyan music scene as we celebrate the comeback of East Africa’s queen of Dancehall Nazizi who revealed she is set to launch a new album soon, and is already featured on our top ten most downloaded songs with the debut single off the album. Ace the Don also made his return to the music scene with a new single which he released yesterday.

At the start of the week a staff member of Mdundo Mr Jakaqu of spades also launched his debut mixtape titled Rugged N' Raw and we are very proud to see his effort to pave his way into the mainstream industry.

When it comes to the charts it has been a one man show at the top with Gospel whiz kid Bahati taking over as Kanana kept up a good fight by staying at number 2 with her song ‘Ni Mapenzi Tu’
