Iman Releases ‘Aaliyah’ - The Second Music Video After His Rebrand

Iman presents the crispy visuals to Aaliyah - the second single after his rebrand. The audio was recorded by Ihaji Made It and the Video was directed by Nezzoh Montana in the leafy suburbs of Karen. This is a love song, and as depicted in the video, a soldier returns from a mission abroad and is looking forward to taking his relationship to the next level. The time he has been away has made him miss his girlfriend and it has reaffirmed that the lady is the woman of his dreams and he doesn’t want to spend any minute away from her again. In the video we see him gifting her a new car which is delivered to their compound, he proposes to her, and then the video ends when they are out in a mall doing shopping. The song is a masterpiece and it comes with that replay value; from the instrumental, vocals and delivery.
Speaking about the new song, Iman says, “Aaliyah is that song! I enjoyed the whole process of making it and I look forward to releasing such sing-along songs that resonate with my fans. Love is beautiful.”
BIO
Iman whose real name is Danson Munyao Musyoki is a Kenyan singer based in Nairobi. His genre is Afropop and he is currently working on a 5-track debut EP with top music producer Ihaji, which is set to drop later in the year. The love crooner launched his music career officially in early 2020 and released four singles under the name March Bravens but later rebranded to Iman in December 2021. Iman’s previous song – Enjoy - did considerably well in terms of airplay and it got so many positive reviews from veterans in the music industry. He was voted Mr. Marist International University College for two consecutive years, from 2019 to 2021, and is currently pursuing his second degree at Daystar University.
