Every now and then there rises a brave, unique soul from the hip hop world and if this soul pushes hard enough, they end up changing the world!
And in this case, Davie Karr is one of the few souls unique enough to leave a mark on the dry cement with the release of his new song, ‘Nipe Hewa’!
It’s a clever piece in which we see him embracing Swahili rap with dope head popping beats behind his back. The piece is crystal clear and his voice has this sui generic quality that picks up interest like dust to glass.
The video is simple but on the money, with shots in a humble neighborhood and very few change of scenes. Simplicity sells and that’s what Davie Karr is going for this time round.
