The cost of celebrity status in Nigeria is too heavy that little privacy feels like heaven for Ladipoe. The rapper says privacy is his thriving zone, and he does all he can to safeguard it.
Why? You may ask, he is on record saying that this is his powerhouse that lets him write great music.

Ladipoe opines his privacy remains guarded at all times because letting people in always ends up messing up things. His music journey is an affirmation of his innate talent to make great music, and entertain people. However, he is alive to the fact that talent alone is not enough to make him a superstar. He needs other people, hard work, and making smart business decisions to stay at the top.

Interestingly, It's difficult for the ‘Know You’ singer to explain how he became so adept as an artist, songwriter, performer, and rapper. His Nigerian and Yoruba descent instilled a love of music in him that had a lot of American influence since he schooled there. And when he went to the University of North Carolina, Ladipoe came out a different man knowing he would change Nigeria’s hip hop landscape. He has amazing tunes and these are his top five songs on Mdundo.

Feeling ft Buju

This song is another success story for Ladipoe in 2021. "Feeling" captures the pleasure of focusing on life's uplifted sensations and invites listeners to be present in every moment.
Buju, on the other hand, sensationalizes the whole song but in a positive way. In general, ‘Feeling’ is a whole vibe.

Know You

Undoubtedly, this is Ladipoe’s second most viral hit to date. It has a rich history which includes Simi. The rapper told Myd-Morning Radio Show that they started writing ‘Know You’ in 2017. It was a dream come true for him after wishful years of working with the sultry  Simi. With Simi's beautiful voice, Ladipoe created "Know You," an upbeat love song about modern-day relationships that have you falling in love too quickly.

Each artist does what they do best over a catchy rhythm made by Somi Jones, while also offering some insight into how we all feel when we fall too fast for someone we don't actually know that well.

Running ft Fireboy DML

‘Running’ was a tantalizing hit prepping the hearts, and minds of his fans for his EP ‘Providence. Somehow, Ladipoe knew featuring Fireboy DML was such a great idea.
This song is aimed at elevating your spirits and motivating you to keep fighting for what you believe in.

Ladipoe raps on everything he's been through to get to where he is now, all the while keeping the song's upbeat tone. He says he is grateful because God has enabled him to accomplish things he could only dream of in his youth.

Afro Jigga ft Rema

The Lagos-based rapper threw a pleasant mid-tempo tune, "Afro Jigga," which spoke loudly about him adopting Jay-Z's ethos. With Rema on board, you definitely have fun with his lyrics because the single has a soothing sound and a continuous, upbeat groove to keep things interesting.  This hit only reminds people of his ability to shift gears quickly and drop in a few gems. Rema, a fellow signee at Mavin Records, lends his dancehall-infused afro-melodies to the project, and it is amazing.

Jaiye

The audio and visual aspects of this song are on another level. They are what in musical terms you call a vibe. Ladipoe did not disappoint his fan base as he showcases his art.
