Zambian singer Kalu Vybez has spoken against cyber bullying of artists and other celebrities. He says fans and artists must join hands and end this nightmare as early as now.

Vybez argues that both parties must love themselves first then love their neighbor. This, he says, will end cyber bullying which is affecting artists.

When this happens, Vybez remarks there will be less of Cyber Bullying online because each person will understand that even people online are each other’s keeper.

He further notes that people should learn more about cyber bullying because there are people who don’t understand what it is all about. He cautioned that artists are human too and people should learn that they make mistakes too.

Last year, he lamented that social media was pushing many artists to committing suicide. In his song ‘Umoyo’ released in 2021, Vybez paints a grim picture of how social media is leading Zambian artists to depression and other mental illnesses as a result of cyber bullying.

Vybez called out people who make inappropriate remarks about others. He urged all Zambians to keep their mouths shut and be more considerate of what they say. He praised the likes of Mutale Mwanza, Yo Maps, and Brian Chanda as people who stayed above hate on social media.
