Otile Brown Releases New ‘Uptown Flex’ EP

Celebrated Kenyan musician Otile Brown has released a new EP dubbed ‘Uptown Flex’.

The EP which has been produced under Otile Brown's Just In Love label houses five songs namely; ‘Double Up’, ‘Realer, ‘Fine By Me’, ‘Run Up’ and ‘Sempre’.

Two Kenyan producers have been involved in the making of the 5-track project. Renowned music producer Ihaji Made It produced ‘Sempre’, ‘Fine by me’, ‘Double Up’ and ‘Realer’. ‘Run Up which is track number four on the EP was produced by Vicky Pon Dis.

‘Uptown Flex’ appears to be a unique project from the singer for various reasons. Top on the list is the fact that the songs are in English, even though Otile Brown is equally known for being good at Swahili songs.

This might mean that the singer is now focused on expanding his fan base to the international level. There are also no collaborations on the EP.

The songs have been received warmly by fans and have already gained thousands of views on YouTube. The EP is set to continue Otile Brown's recent success record.

The singer recently became the first Kenyan musician to achieve one million subscribers on YouTube. His song ‘Woman’ in which he featured Tanzanian star musician Harmonize has also experienced immense success.
