Born Zewelanji Sanga, Zambian rapper Lanji Music Official has made huge milestones in the world of music. She always loved music and the first time she walked to the studio was in 2013.

Today, she is signed by YM Media. Lanji released her first single ‘Set D' Tone’ on September 8, 2019. Fans loved the song and it became a top charting in Zambia. It ranked high on Joy FM, Power Promo Zone song and Power FM.

Her second single ‘Right Now’ released in May 2020 set her on a pedestal as it gained massive airplay on TV and radio. As a result of her appearances on the country's two most popular albums, Slap Dee's ‘Mother Tongue’ and KB's ‘The Last Dance’, Lanji became a household name in 2020.

Her appearances on the albums demonstrated that she was one of the busiest emerging female singers in the country that year, with the songs ‘Bwafya’ on Slap Dee's album and ‘Take It Back’ on KB's album.

‘Tell Zem’ by T Bwoy is one of the songs she has written for other musicians, with a notable songwriting credit. Innocent Kalaluka, the host of the country's longest-running lifestyle TV show Smooth Talk’, invited her to sing both ‘Osanilekelele’ and ‘Right Now’ on the show, which airs on National Television.

She has a distinct sound, and is a rising star. One of her professional goals is to share the power of self-love, confidence, and trust in making dreams come true. Lanji believes that to whom much is given, much is expected.
